Heading to Puerto de Alcudia later this year and can not wait! First visit to Majorca last year and was so impressed we decided to go back this year and see another part of the island. Santa Ponsa last year far exceeded our expectations and after watching videos like these I think Alcudia will do the same. What a beautiful island Majorca is, and those beaches ❤❤❤ Thanks for the video Helen.

I had been there in the early 1980ies. I think if I was there nowadays, my weight would in crease to 400 pounds within two weeks!!! It really looks tasty!

Im so excited to be going BACK to the Cliff this summer after a long time away. My heart is in this hotel. So many treasured memories of my childhood with Mum and Dad... We stayed here every year from around 1976 until mid 90s. It looks beautiful and fresh. Can't wait ❤

I am now 78, but for the first 16 years of my life, we went to Newton for our summer holidays! We stayed at my great uncle George's house, which is near the joiners Arms 80 yards at most, I can remember getting a half pint sandy, very weak one! with my brother and walking for miles from low Newton to Embleton to the castle ruins that their was no charge to enter. There also was a quarry at the top of the road you go down from were the green bus used to stop before the long walk to my aunts.she had one cow and some chickens and kept pigs during the war, as George was a butcher and travelled every Sunday afternoon back to Newcastle-upon-Tyne where he worked as a butcher. These very valuable objects were sold to his land lady for market value, I know because we Never ran out of bacon and eggs!!

Smashing video of Pen y Garth. Brings back many memories. My dad and I both lived there. In fact the attic bedroom was ours at various times. We revisited it in spring 2019. As smashing a place as ever. My grandfather was the YHA warden there in the '40s and '50s, dad worked there on vacation from university, and in fact met my mum there, who was working as an aid. I lived there with my mum when I was a toddler when dad went back to uninformed his second degree. My first memories are of that house, and the walk to the beach. When we visited my dad who was 90, had so many memories, but was stunned by the door to the basement as he had no memory of it. Had a long chat with the current owners, one discussion was about the back garden, which they recently bought to complete the old garden, and how they had tried to grow rhubarb there and it will not grow, and dad saying how it grew like weeds (was served with custard as desert to the folk staying the night at the hotel), and my memories of running through it, like a forest as a 2 year old.

Same aircraft we travelled on to menorca from DSA . I do miss our little airport 😢

Stayed in this fab hotel in June we didn’t go in the pool it did seem that some people put towels down before breakfast? Entertainment was low key , singers, saxophone player just right for us. Food was amazing and staff very friendly.
